Practice locations are no longer an issue with virtual mediation

Mediators Position

As a mediator my goal is to direct the case to a settlement.  What you say during mediation is confidential and can not be used in court.  With that said it allows both parties the ability to be honest without the threath that the truth will be used against them.
Virtual Mediation

The same idea as face to face but the parties do not meet at the same location.  Parties may be in different states.  A computer with a web cam and internet are required.
It is a lot less stressful and it may be done in the privacy of your home or office.
Excellent option for those that are home bound or disabled.

What to Expect

You should expect to complete the mediation process feeling like you gave all you could.  When that is accomplished by both sides mediation is a success because both parties comprimised.
Should I Mediate or Go to Court

The choice is up to you of course.  The advantages of mediation are you have a say in the outcome of your conflict.  Your dispute can be settled in matter of hours.  You save attorney fees court cost and months or years possibly of your time.
